Curious by default. Still am
I've spent 20 years building brands, digital products and physical spaces, much of it running my own agencies. What keeps me interested is getting dropped into industries I know little about. Parking. Hydrofoils. Chicken. Legal tech. Hotels. Learning how something works, then making it understandable and worth caring about.
How I work
I don't trust taste on its own. The work I'm proudest of came out of interviews, testing and follow-up research, not a moodboard.
I work across brand, digital and physical, and I've stayed technical. I started as a developer and never quite left. I still build things to think with, and know enough to be useful in a room full of engineers. Mostly it means I design for what will actually get made, not what looks good in a deck.
I still design, but I've spent most of my career leading teams and client relationships too. I like setting a clear direction, then giving good people room to make it better.
What I'm after
After years of running my own agencies, I'm looking to join an ambitious team and spend more of my time on the work, the people and the creative direction.
Preferably on complicated things. New categories. Unfamiliar industries. Technology that's real but hasn't found its words yet.
